Wasted in Sea Bright

During What Should Have Been, the Best Years of Our Lives

For many of you, the reference, Wasted in Sea Bright, usually refers to alcohol, partying, and generally over-doing it at the local restaurants and bars. But for us, that’s simply not the case. Although, all of the above might have helped ease the pain and suffering endured here, there was little motivation or time to partake in such good times, when you are dealing with repetitive flooding and fraudulent govermental conduct. I am referring to the loss of what was to be the better years of my life. Our lives.

Wouldn’t you know… this appeared at our door after a flood in Sea Bright.

It’s with great sadness, that the true irony is that had my family and I suffered our exhausting devastation at the hands of Hurricane Sandy, we wouldn’t be in this situation. We may actually have been better off and back to living our lives. In 2010, Hurricane Irene wreaked havoc on our home, well before Sandy and we suffered more than most. But truth be told — our complete and utter destruction to our well-being, our families, our business, the quality of our lives and the devaluation of our home — was not either of those storms. It was and is a direct result of this CORRUPT BOROUGH! Or, as we like to call it, our own Hurricane Sea Bright. It is extremely disheartening to see all of Sandy-affected homes become safe and beautiful, when we have been suffering for over 13 years — 6 with severe flooding and 7 years to full-on fraudulency and demoralization. It’s especially difficult, when the main reason for moving here was to lighten our load, spend more time with family and have some fun. A quaint, remodeled home, ultimately destroyed by the Borough of Sea Bright — not Hurricane Sandy.

Our neighbor was always commenting to others, about us not being at the beach. Maybe it’s because we were busy, lifting up our belongings all the time, due to repetitive flooding!

A government is a trust, and the officers of the government are trustees. And both the trust and the trustees are created for the benefit of the people.
