8 VS. 10 Center St. Storm Prep
As we shutoff our utilities, boarded our windows and packed to evacuate in preparation for the arrival of Superstorm Sandy, our neighbor had his own spin on storm prep. Three sticks and a piece of MDF were going to stop the rising flow of water between his house and ours — keeping his drive from washing away. Doesn’t wood float in water?
Utilities off. We’re out!
